"While working with multi-modal learners, I have found that visual prompting, or learning, pairs well with their hands on experiences. These books help my students grasp ideas that are multi-step and require a memory recall that for most of them is hard without a visual to pair it with. Allowing my students to read these books gives them the visual guidance they need to remember these steps and learn new skills including life skills, hygiene skills, and even how to manage new routines. As my students progress through the books and master different steps, they earn the ability to color in the pages for the newly learned steps. This works as extra reinforcement for them as they learn, recall, and master new materials!"
